A song is the honest voice of a man's heart so ya from now on, I'm gonna choose one song per week and its youtube video if there's any available. This week's song coming from Quentin Tarantino's movie, Django Unchained, entitled Freedom.  Wiki page about this movie's OST states this: Tracks composed for the film are "100 Black Coffins" by Rick Ross and produced by and featuring Jamie Foxx, "Who Did That To You?" by John Legend, "Freedom" by Anthony Hamilton and Elayna Boynton, "Ancora Qui" by Ennio Morricone and Elisa. These four songs were all eligible for an Academy Award nomination in the Best Original Song category, but none of them was nominated. I was and still am honestly surprised as we all agree on Tarantino's taste in picking great song for his movies. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is coming to my town and let's see if I can pick any great song from there!

Cinema: How Does It Affect Us?

Birdman, cumbersomely subtitled “Or the Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance”, was set, and substantially filmed, in and around New York’s St. James theatre. Anyone watching this piece of art would still remember Michael Keaton’s back as he was flying in sitting position inside his room behind that theatre stage. It’s not even exaggerating to say this piece as one of Alejandro González Iñárritu’s most important works. He himself won 3 academy awards for it: directing, co-writing, and co-producing. Even when we drew back to his early projects Trilogy of Death, Babel already magnificently captivated our understanding of pure human life connections. The unsurpassed scent of I

New journal of life

This windy afternoon with silence and consistent rhythm from black desk fan marks my way back to blogger.com. Suddenly I feel the urge to look for my previous blog ( https://city-k.blogspot.com/) and look at my writings from a little whila ago. It's been 3 years since I put anything on my previous blog which means it's been 3 years since I put my heart into writings. Well, there are some files as personal journal in my laptop yet they're also being abandoned since life is raining heavily around me, leaving its own scent of hurry and dissatisfaction. On this July 30, 2019, I'm making my way back to writings. Even if it's a short and simple story, I need to leave something behind me, simply as a path I can track down when later I lose myself. Wish me luck in these 365 days!
